    RPG Earthworks – Terms and Conditions 

    • Wet hire only – with operator 
    • Minimum Hire Charges

      • All machines and attachments are hired and charged for minimum 3 hours + travel at their hourly rate.

      • A minimum charge of 6 hours will apply outside Normal Work Hours and  for Emergency Call out situations.

      • Normal work hours are 6am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 6am-12pm Saturday.

      • An additional charge of $35.00 per hour  plus GST will apply outside normal work hours and Public Holidays. All rates are based on hourly hire plus GST and are subject to change without notification.
    • Additional fees – charged at the advertised hourly rate for each item hired. 
    • Travel — The travel charge referred to is charged per actual time in transit to and from the job based on the advertised hire charge per item hired. 
    • Toll Charges — Toll Charges may be incurred to and from tip sites.
    • Tip Fees — Tip Fees Charged will incur a surcharge based on the expense incurred.
    • Cancellations — Notification of any cancellation must be received within 24 hours of the scheduled job to prevent minimum hire charges. In the event of a weather-related cancellation, notification must be received within 2 hour of the scheduled job and prior to equipment leaving the depo, to avoid minimum hire charges.
    • Payment is COD — Credit Card details, email address & ABN must be supplied for all COD jobs for payment on the day of service.
    • Trade Account? Need to set up Trade Account for a commercial business? Please contact us.
    • Replacement Post Hole Borer — Teeth and Pilots may be charged if wear is excessive.
    • Bucket/Ripper — If wear is excessive replacement teeth will be charged.
    • Fuel Surcharge – If diesel cost exceeds $2.30 per litre a surcharge will apply. 

    • Dial Before you Dig – it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the requested area to be excavated has been checked to be clear of any underground services. RPG Earthworks takes no responsibility in the event that underground services are damaged. Unforeseen Damage – RPG takes no responsibility for unforeseen damage to infrastructure when there is no fault to RPG e.g. if a driveway needs to be traversed and cracks under the weight of a machine.
